InSat GmbH is one of the leading satellite-based Internet providers.

The company was founded in 2000 and is located in Saarbrücken, on the German-French border, in central Europe. InSat GmbH has its own satellite ground station and communications hub with redundant equipment, which is connected by several fiber-optic lines to an international telecommunications center in Frankfurt-on-Main where practically all leading Internet operators have a presence.

InSat operates its own proprietary hub/teleport, which is equipped with several ground stations.
